NEXterminal is pleased with the lastest release of itsf eLux ReLoaded (2.8) and Scout management software (11.6). The releases keep the NEXterminal clients in line with the latest technology available and allows customers to address issues which have come forward in daily operation.

| NEC developments to intensify IT infrastructure activities |
 NEC officially introduced the ECO CENTER platform in Europe, intended specifically for data-centres. Due to the use of server modules with NEC's improved power utilization and virtualization technology it is possible to consolidates virtual servers and realizes more efficient operational loads, ECO CENTER saves energy through power efficiency.
NEC Computers has choosen the APX group (e.g. Getronic) as its service partner. This means that APX will offer call centre, support and logistics services to NEC Computers clients in EMEA. NEC appointed APX to meet NEC's objectives for growth in enterprise computing solutions. All activities are in response to the international strategy to pursue IT infrastructure objectives for 2010. Go dual screen (2x 1920×1200) and feel the efficiency of large display and multiple sessions on multiple screens.
eLux ReLoaded as OS is the right choice for the new hardware. RL offers better graphics, better handling of USB devices and a kernel to accommodate newer hardware. Reloaded also caries the look and feel of the well known GNOME GUI, but better yet, the GNOME is controlled by Scout.  Sedicom Europe has been appointed by NEC Computers as Value Added Distributeur for its ICT solutions. NEC appointed Sedicom before as distributor for its thin clients, and the synergy between the companies has lead to a expansion of the co-operation. Sedicom has, as one of the first Value Ready partner of NEC in Europe, all certificates to support the complete portfolio of NEC Computers.
NEC has refocused on infrastructure solutions, servers and storage, and is pursuing its desktop development strategy around virtualisation technology, making the virtualised desktop cheaper to run and easier to manage than a traditional PC.
