Hilversum (NL), 30 September 2009 - Sedicom Europe has been appointed by NEC Computers as Value Added Distributeur for its ICT solutions. NEC appointed Sedicom before as distributor for its thin clients, and the synergy between the companies has lead to a expansion of the co-operation.
NEC Computers set the goal to become one of the three leading players in the European server and storage market by 2015. To achieve this, NEC Computers will subscribe to the NEC group's global vision and and strives to a closer integration of the different divisions whereby more emphasis lies on providing solutions. Therefore a new management team has been introduced and new partners will be assigned. The company also reorganises the sales channel and gives indirect canal exclusively priority. With this newly announced strategy there is an important role for Sedicom Europe.
Sedicom Europ has wide experience in supporting solutions will do this in the first place from its office in Zoetermeer (NL) and later on also from Copenhagen (Denmark). Sedicom has, as one of the first Value Ready partner of NEC in Europe, all certificates to support the complete portfolio of NEC Computers.
With in depth knowledge of the products, the added value lies in applicability and Sedicom will position the products of NEC as solutions. With its expertise it is possible to define a broad package of solutions in the areas of virtualisation, business continuity and unified communications. The focus for servers is at the NEC FlexPower and Fault Tolerant (Express5800/FT) servers, complete with NEC storage and software products. In the near future a bridge will be made to larger data centers with the EcoCenter and Enterprise HA systems solutions.
