| NEXterminal is pleased to release the lastest version of their eLux ReLoaded (RL) version 2.8 and Scout management software (vs 11.6). The release of these 2 versions have brought the NEXterminal clients completely in line with the latest technology available and allows customers to address issues which have come forward in daily operation. HP on July 23 announced plans to acquire thin client specialist Neoware, in a deal valued at $214 million. HP expects the acquisition to boost its thin client Linux software, and help it compete in the emergent market for virtualized client computing. Of the three main vendors (Wyse, HP and Neoware) it alone is “committed to the Linux operating system,” it said in February of this year, when it last revised its NeoLinux OS. |

[22-03-2006] The IDC report indicates that Neoware leads the rapidly growing thin client segment of the PC market. Neoware recently released calendar year 2005 figures which shows that Neoware continued to gain market share in 2005. The report also showed that Neoware grew faster than the overall market in both units and revenues in 2005. Neoware’s unit shipment for 2001-2005 grew at 63 percent, which was higher than other leading competitors for the same period.
